1. At Just 16, Todd Gilliland Wins His First NASCAR Championship 

Bill McAnally Racing driver Todd Gilliland, son of veteran driver David Gilliland, made racing history this month by becoming the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Champion and the youngest NASCAR champion of any kind.

2. Senate Bill Would Endorse National Historic Vehicle Register 

Thanks to Michigan senator Gary Peters, new legislation could establish a federal registry of historic vehicles, supporting a cause long championed by the Historic Vehicle Association.
